This is a low altitude photo of the Kitsilano area of Vancouver in 1948. You can see Henry Hudson Elementary (100 years old) just toward the top-right of center. Then two buildings further back lies the Seaforth Armoury.

We lived in the apartments to the right of Henry Hudson, right on the corner of Cypress and York Avenue.
Interesting to see the railroad tracks heading west from Burrard, north of Cornwall in the now very upscale Kits Point neighbourhood!
